Intermediate Web Developer

Guardian Mobile Monitoring Systems, Inc. helps businesses and individuals keep track of their vehicles, assets and family members using GPS technology and cutting edge web applications.

We are looking for an Intermediate Web Developer to develop the web application modules of our multi-tier, multi-tenant software applications.

The ideal candidate is highly-motivated and passionate, and is looking for a challenge in a growing company. We value creativity and innovation, and willingness to step up to the plate. An ability to work in a team environment is critical. You must be a self-starter, and be able to work independently with a "can-do" attitude.

Required Qualifications:

• Very strong with PHP, Java, HTML, Javascript, CSS, DHTML (AJAX), Struts

• Experience with database-driven web development is a must

• Solid understand of GUI design, web usability and user-centered design

• Minimum 3 years of industry project experience

• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Experience working in Linux environments

Desired Qualifications:

• PostgresSQL or Oracle DB

• Some experience with JSP

• Experience in developing GIS applications

• Experience in developing Reporting and/or Billing applications

• Database design experience

• J2EE (preferably JBoss) development experience

Education:

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline.
