COPS Monitoring Selects Guardian As Its Mobile Monitoring Provider
SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 21, 2005 - Guardian Mobile Monitoring Systems, Inc., the leading provider of GPS-based, mobile security solutions for the security alarm monitoring industry, is pleased to announce that COPS Monitoring has selected Guardian as its exclusive mobile monitoring provider.
COPS will be offering GPS services under the COP-A-TRAK brand. COPS Executive Vice President, Don Maden, sees mobile monitoring as part of the evolution of security alarm monitoring. "Monitoring is changing today. It's going beyond burglar alarms. GPS-based mobile monitoring is an emerging high-growth segment," states Maden. "COPS' dealers will be able to increase their recurring monthly revenue by offering these valuable services to their customer base."
With central station locations in New Jersey and Arizona, COPS monitors 250,000 accounts for 1,500 dealers nationwide.
