Guardian Announces New Security Company Partner
Ohio-Based American Response Center Selects Guardian As Its Mobile Monitoring Provider
SANTA MONICA, Calif., February 21, 2005 - Guardian Mobile Monitoring Systems, Inc., the leading provider of GPS-based, mobile security solutions for the security alarm monitoring industry, is pleased to announce that American Response Center (ARC) has selected Guardian as its exclusive mobile monitoring provider.
ARC will be offering GPS services through the mobile monitoring division of ARC called ARC TrackNet. ARC President, Jim Osborne, sees mobile monitoring as an emerging, high-growth opportunity. "GPS-based mobile monitoring will create a whole new recurring revenue stream for our dealers," states Osborne. "The current technology and the technology that will be available this year will increase the potential market for these services by ten-fold."
Based outside Cleveland, Ohio, ARC is a wholesale central station with hundreds of dealers and tens of thousand subscribers nationwide. Using Guardian's web-based mobile monitoring system, central station operators and their dealers can increase RMR by offering subscription-based mobile security services to their commercial and residential customers. Guardian's platform currently supports the monitoring of vehicles, with the monitoring of assets and people to be available later this year.
