Guardian Launches Mobile Monitoring Platform
for the Security Industry
First Web-Based GPS Monitoring System Expected to Help Security Companies of All Sizes Capitalize on the Mobile Monitoring Opportunity
SANTA MONICA, Calif., January 30, 2004 - Guardian Mobile Monitoring Systems, Inc., the leading provider of GPS-based, mobile security solutions for the security alarm monitoring industry, announces the commercial launch of its web-based mobile monitoring platform, the first of its kind in the industry.
The Guardian system is a full-featured, multi-tenant mobile monitoring platform designed specifically for the unique needs of the security alarm monitoring industry, and enables central stations and their dealers to offer subscription-based mobile monitoring services to residential and commercial customers. The system is scalable, robust and secure and is managed and hosted at the Guardian data center and delivered via any web browser. The system includes both a monitoring station web portal as well as an end customer web portal.
The monitoring station web portal provides central station owners and operators with a complete set of functionality required for managing accounts, locatable device inventory, reporting and emergency incident handling. In addition, the system is brandable for the central station, and provides an integrated, brandable dealer module. The dealer module enables complete account administration via a web interface, reducing data entry costs and errors, and speeding customer implementation time.
The end customer web portal is a flexible and easy to use management system enabling users to locate and track their mobile items, manage their locatable device inventory, create and assign Guardians to specific mobile items, create speed and zone notifications, and view reports of their usage. In addition to being full featured, end customers can use the system with the peace of mind of 24/7 monitoring station support.
